Wound closure

Sutures for every layer you close

A complete wound-closure range engineered for safer, faster and more predictable healing — from rapid-absorbing braids for tissue that heals in days to permanent monofilaments for repairs that must hold for a lifetime.

Why SRB MEDZONE wound closure

Advanced closure, dependable outcomes

The strand, the coating, the needle and the packing all get in the surgeon's way if any one of them is wrong. We build the whole device, not just the thread.

Questions

Frequently asked

Which suture range do I need?

If the tissue heals within weeks and you would rather not remove the suture, an absorbable is usually the answer. If the repair must hold indefinitely — cardiovascular, orthopaedic, hernia — a non-absorbable is indicated. Specialty and barbed devices add a coating or a knotless design on top of an established polymer.

Are braided and monofilament both available?

Yes, across both the absorbable and non-absorbable ranges. Braids handle supply and hold knots well; monofilaments pass through tissue with less drag.

Do you supply under our own brand?

Yes. OEM and private-label manufacturing is available across the wound-closure range, including packaging, labelling and reference coding.

What sizes are available?

The range spans fine to heavy U.S.P. sizes with a choice of needle configurations. Ask us for the size and needle chart for the product you are considering.

For healthcare professionals. Selection of suture material, size, needle and technique rests with the operating surgeon. Refer to the instructions for use supplied with each product.
